AI LLM's study human made examples, and by studying those LLM's improve in their accuracy. AI training is aimed at improving the ability of replicating and improving upon human made examples. For humans AI output is easier to create than making it themselves, the only hurdle being other humans recognizing it as AI output. As accuracy of AI output improves the output from AI becomes less and less distinguishable from human made output, and as a result more and more AI output is being released/created by humans. This AI output flooding the internet and possible sources from which AI can draw training data. Is it a real problem for AI, that as in the future as more and more is being replaced by AI output itself, the training data is no longer representative of what it is trying to replicate/improve upon? submitted by /u/ThisFuzzBall078 [link] [comments]
